Italian Marble
Carrara white marble is the best-known Italian marble. Michelangelo favored it in many of his statues including the iconic “David” statue. Famous marble sights include the Marble Arch in London, and the Duomo di Siena. It was also used by the Romans to create the Pantheon and Trajan’s Column in ancient Rome.
