Tumbled Marble
The term tumbled marble describes marble which has a distressed, old-fashioned and rustic finish. It is often used in tile murals and marble floors because of the attractive veining and fissures which characterize this marble. It is highly regarded as it is the heaviest of materials which gives it a perceived high value. Tumbled marble generally has a matte finish applied to retain its weathered look.
